A. Opening process
1. In the closed position, the mechanical pressure of the valve stem pushes the ball toward the valve seat.
2. Rotate the hand wheel counterclockwise to move the valve stem in the opposite direction, and the lower angle plane releases the ball from the valve seat.
3. The valve stem continues to rise and interacts with the guide pin in the valve stem spiral groove, so that the ball starts to rotate without friction.
4. The valve stem rises to the position and the ball rotates to the open position until it reaches the open position.
B. End the process
1. When closing, turn the handwheel clockwise, the valve stem will begin to descend, and the ball will begin to rotate away from the valve seat.
2. Continue to rotate the handwheel. The valve rod is inserted into the spiral groove at the top under the action of the guide pin, so the valve rod and the steel ball rotate 90° at the same time.
3. When trying to close, the ball rotates 90° without touching the valve seat.
4. In a few laps of the handwheel, the corner plane at the bottom of the valve stem will be mechanically wedged, pushing the ball to firmly push the valve seat and seal it.
